I made this cake for a 4 year old little boy's birthday. The cake was vanilla filled with 1/2 Bavarian Creme and 1/2 icing. It was iced with buttercream. The buildings were airbrushed, and spiderman was a frozen buttercream transfer that I piped black webs on after it was flipped.
